ahem.

So, for our 50 bucks or so, we pre-ordered which meant a bunch of bundled goodies. A head start on the peeps waiting for it to hit shelves at retailers.

So far, with the digital downloade i got the following:

24 hours late in delivery of my beta copy
an extremely week beta test (1 map, 1 game type, short trial period, and too close to official release)
a day late in delivery of my key code and redemption code for all those unlocks
a patch which still had to be installed by the end user after initial installation
no unlocks upon redemption
no carry over of stats from beta to official release as promised
glitched interface, friends list is fuktup, the whole server browser problem (my advice is to add any servers asap to the faves tab)
and now.....

the whole pb initialization failure. Once again as they plug one hole with the entire fleet of server crashing, they fix it by fugging more shyte up. Although this one i guess we can't officially blame on EA coz it is in fact a pb issue, (because EA dint share the code with evenbalance when they fixed the server crash issue).

Record friggin sales, record number of online users (surpassed the total number of players for BF2 on ANY given day yesterday).

Believe it or not, the whole bug problems with the game is in some major newspapers around the globe today.

I love the game, but this is so very typical EA shyte. EA has an early release problem. Somewhat like Sp3kt3r, I hear.

I read yesterday that there are more BC2 players on PC than both consoles combined.

Honestly, I haven't had a problem up until Saturday.

The server browser just makes the initial experience feel shoddy and Dice needs to fix the column headers when you press 'tab' in game to see your KDR, score, and ping. Makes you wonder what other kinds of details were left out...

My biggest gripe is NO PRONE. It's still needed, and we were told that it would be in. Guess Nature was right Dice couldn't figure a way to keep peoples feet from sticking through the walls.

the pb init failure everyone kept getting kicked for was easily fixed at the time by server admins updating and or restarting their servers. when i search for servers and the list shows up i see no pings displayed for any server. just a - not sure if its just me having that problem or not. havent seen a ping displayed for any server yet. also the friends list thing as well.

Hey Sp3kt3r, Toothpyk said he cured his early release issues by spending even more time with his blow up date.........hope that helps brother.
